Lexus has declassified a compact hatchback LF-Ch

Company Lexus has extended the official information and new photos of conceptual five-door hatchback LF-Ch which will be presented general public on a motor show in Frankfurt.

The serial version of this car becomes the smallest model in scale of the Japanese mark and, predictably, will appear on the conveyor in the autumn of 2010. About it it's spoken in press release Lexus.

The dimensional length of conceptual hatchback Lexus makes 4300 mm, width — 1790 mm, height — 1400 mm, and the wheel base is equal to 2600 mm. The novelty will be equipped with a hybrid power-plant which will allow the car to move as exclusively on electrodraught, and with sharing of the usual petrol engine and the electromotor. Detailed characteristics of a power-plant yet are not informed, however, under the preliminary information, concept car LF-Ch will receive the same units, as hybrid Lexus HS 250h which sales have already begun in the USA. The structure of installation of this car includes the 2,4-l petrol motor, the electric motor and a variator. Total power of a power-plant makes 187HP.

In salon Lexus LF-Ch there will be an asymmetric central console, system management of car Remote Touch functions, for the first time presented on crossover RX of new generation, and also dock-station for iPhone, located on back to a row of seats.

The serial version of hatchback Lexus which, predictably, will receive name CT, will receive a forward drive and after an exit on the market will make a competition to cars Audi A3 and BMW 1-Series.
