Honda will begin mass production of electromobiles in 2015

Company Honda plans to begin mass production and sales in the USA of cars on electrobent for 2015. On it referring to Japanese newspaper Nikkei informs AP. According to the edition, working out of this model is already conducted, however exact dates of occurrence of a novelty on sale representatives Honda to name while refuse.

According to Nikkei, a prototype of first electromobile Honda will present in October on the Tokyo motor show — it is supposed, that this model will be executed in "forms-factors" micro-or midget cars. No other data about a novelty while are present.

The reason on which Honda the electropenalty only on the middle of next decade as experts consider has planned release of the, consists in desire of the Japanese engineers to wait reductions in price of storage batteries and development of a network of stations for additional charge of cars on electrodraught. For comparison, Nissan plans to make the electromobile for the markets of the USA, Japan and Europe already in the end of next year, Toyota — by 2012th year, and Chevrolet will begin manufacture of "hybrid" Volt recharged from the household electric system in 2010.

Company Honda now too has two hybrid models — Honda Civic and hatchback Honda Insight using the same power-plant.
