Mitsubishi Outlander Turbo

The pearl autoconcern of the Country of a rising sun has created the car, capable to satisfy inquiries of the most captious buyer and, it's necessary to tell is not mere words. It's necessary to notice, that stable quality of production is firm credo of motorcar giant Mitsubishi. In difference from the previous model, Outlander Turbo differs a little bit other blocks of headlights, the cast 17 inch disks, which which give to the car certain "a sports bearing".

Getting inside, really you admire conservative design of salon. The steering wheel is sheathed by a skin, is equal as all internal furniture. Having settled down at the wheel you feel with what responsibility the Japanese masters have executed a driver's place, to sit in the car — well very comfortably! In the course of driving to comfort the confidence increases.

New Outlander Turbo

Management elements all on the places. You wish to be switched — the hand lays down on the gear change lever, has wanted to turn on the right — the finger itself includes the turn index. The car is made for the maximum accuracy, that nothing distracted attention from road.

MitsubishiIn Mitsubishi Outlander Turbo there are no up-to-date touch monitors and other intellectual management — the car for those who loves driving and in a condition itself to define a movement direction. However all necessary is present: the full electropackage, the conditioner, the onboard navigator informing on how many of kilometres to you remains gasoline, modern system of the alarm system, a safety pillow, glass hatches, a bar. In the car it's enough space more than. Back places Develop in a proportion 1:2, therefore the size of a luggage space — accepts truly huge characteristics.

Outlander Turbo it is supplied by 2 litre engine got on-inheritance from Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VIII, however prefix Turbo not with is simple, the turbine is a main innovation of the car. So, the declared power is equal 250HP. Thus, the car all-wheel drive with draught distribution on 50% on each axis.

Turbo

Especially it would be desirable to note 5 step transmission. Switching so as if you do not switch at all, all accurately and smoothly. Coupling well matched to a transmission, and here the brake — "iron" — where has pressed, there and has stopped. The car is more tremendous enters into turns and perfectly holds road. Of course, the quick horsy, provokes to feats, but the main thing literally — not to become presumptuous.

The portable house

The portable house

Japanese architect Jo Nagasaka and the Schemata Architecture Office have come up with a home design that rethinks just how much space one person needs. 6,000 square feet? 600? Well, try 30 square feet.

The Paco home has a hammock to sleep on, a Japanese-style recessed desk, and a sink, toilet and shower all in a crate that's a 3-meter-cube. It's not intended to replace where you live now, but rather to supplement it. It could be a beach house, a portable office — anything, really, as long as you find a way to lug it into place and hook up the water. Trying to open that hatch-like roof to get in doesn't look like the most comfortable solution, either, though maybe that's a doggy door on the side.

Still, toss some posters on the wall, maybe put a rug down, and you've got yourself a happy little home. Check out the gallery below for more of the Paco house.

Held down by one chain

chain

Photographer Chien Chi Chang achieved six years the permission to shooting of the underground psychiatric clinic located in monastery Lon Fa Tan which patients in the therapeutic purposes are chained to each other by chains.

Patients are defined by relatives who consider, that they are dishonoured by the mad member of household. Therapy includes poultry farming, sewing and others "useful skills". Patients are held down on two chains: more open and sociable with closed and unsociable. Such neighbourhood, according to monks, harmonises both.

In 1997 indignation of psychiatrists has led to hearings in parliament of Taiwan. Deputy Hu An has introduced the bill forbidding similar medical experiments. The law has been accepted, but the monastery exists till now.

Illusive Japan

Illusive Japan

The most favourite entertainment in Japan epoch Edo (1600-1867) were the story of terrible histories about ghosts and demons. Told by turns, after end of the history the story-teller extinguished one of fixtures. Also it became even more terrible.

Told as a rule in the summer — say, that with fear you grow cold, therefore the terrible history as never freshened in the hot summer evening, bulked up a ring of cicadas. Some story-tellers even specially invited. And they also did not refuse.

The infinite history about the person who has gone astray was one of the most popular. "He searches where to stop on a lodging for the night. In the distance he notices a spark and leaves to the house. In the house a back to a door the old woman sits and is engaged in sewing. Whether «It is possible to stop at you?" — the traveller asks.
"Please", — and turns to the guy in a profile...
And there … there is either no eyes, or a nose, a mouth — in general anything!
The person cries out and in horror runs out from the house.
Having recovered the breath he notices on road of other traveller with the cart, having come nearer begins tells, about that that so has frightened him. The person with the cart carries a hood in darkness it is not visible his faces.
And suddenly it is the person lifts a head and asks: "Such look saw?", the moonlight beam gets under a hood, and at that, a look — exactly as well as at the old woman — without eyes, without a nose, without a mouth...".

And in some Buddhist temples till now it is possible to meet mummies of demons and reductions. Do not trust? Admire for example on this demon.

Extreme toilet

Georgia Max Coffee
Georgia Max Coffee chose to redesign the toilets of a number of key ski resorts in Japan. The cubicles were fully wrapped on all sides, so that the person caught short would have a ski jumper’s view when they were sitting on the loo.

The person could look down at their skis (simply printed on the floor of the cubicle) and see the steep ski jump slope ahead of them.
The toilet paper holder carried the only brand messaging in the cubicle, reading: “Seriously kick-ass intensely sweet for the real coffee super zinging unstoppable Max! Taste-explosion!”

Made in Japan

Japan mapIf Japanese in what are an expert, so it in electronics and in a hara-kiri. From the Japanese meal the stomach is ill me, the Japanese literature bores me, the Japanese theatre to me is not clear, the Japanese etiquette seems too pompous, the Japanese women are too appeasable, the Japanese cities too stuffy, the Japanese painting I in general never saw. For what I respect Japanese — so it for their electronic and home appliances. Here they geniuses.

I love Japan because it is the most postmodernist country in the world. In Japan you will not disassemble, where culture, and where the industry. There it has merged in one big Japanese Miracle which symbol could become a hara-kiri, made by means of the laser. Perhaps I the chauvinist, but all Japanese seem me abnormal — even Yukio Misima. Japanese for me all the same that humanoids. Though it seems to me, that soon all of us become for each other humanoids.

Japanese unsurpassed masters of a metaphor and in general any images. It, likely, language influence. Sony is too a metaphor. Sony is a metaphor of a life after TV occurrence. The only thing, that is necessary now for us, is new TV Sony, more flat, with more volume image and, of course, it is more. I always dreamt to live in apartment where there would be one bed, it is a lot of books and more than anything. I have missed the chance if it was, to live so.

TokioI think, that if was not Sony it would be necessary for nobody the Japanese cinema, a land. Sony has declared all that such "Japanese quality". The Japanese quality has extended on all. And now everything, that concerns to Made in Japan, is the sample high quality. Absolutely all.

Holographic greetings from Japan

Invented holography on second time
Japanese have invented holography on second time. However, this time, they have added quite good functions: if so will go, the three-dimensional photo will appear very soon, and three-dimensional video even earlier.
Thus, the three-dimensional picture can be seen own eyes, without any sun glasses, and will cost such, probably, not strongly more expensively the usual.

All it's very strange...

All it's very strange
Company Sony is the largest corporation on home appliances and electronics release.
Akio Morita and Masaru Ibuka have created company Sony in 1946. Originally the company was called as Tokyo Cusin Kogio Kabusiki Kaisa. And since 1958 — Sony.

In 50th years Sony began to make the first radio receivers (ТР-55).
In 1960 Sony starts release of the first transistor TV (TV8-301), and in 1965 — the first videorecorder (CV-2000).

First colour TV Sony has appeared in 1968 (Trinitron KV-1310). There is a cassette tape recorder, a videocamera and a portable player — Walkman (Freestyle — for Swedes, Stowaway — for British and Soundabout — for Americans) Later. In 1983 together with company Philips Sony for the first time represents on the world market compact discs (CD). Games hookup Sony Play Station is issued since 1994.

Sony — one of the most creative companies creating hundreds of novelties annually (in 1990 Sony presented more than 500 new models, that is almost on two novelties in day).
Now corporation Sony is also the media company (record-label Sony Music Entertainment, film studios Columbia Pictures and TriStars Pictures).

Experts declare, that cost Sony approximately in 37,5 billion dollars. At factories Sony worldwide now work about 173 thousand persons.

And still, Sony constantly invents something not clear
…of what me one of these days have once again convinced.

This time corporation Sony has caused a stir. Viewing of the official
Preview trailer of clearness has not added...

The next generation of space explorers

Developers in JapanRobotic systems continue to evolve, slowly penetrating many areas of our lives, from manufacturing, medicine and remote exploration to entertainment, security and personal assistance.
Developers in Japan are currently building robots to assist the elderly, while NASA develops the next generation of space explorers, and artists are exploring new avenues of entertainment.
Collected here are a handful of images of our recent robotic past, and perhaps a glimpse into the near future.
